Light of Hope Meditations on YouTube

MEDITATIONS ON YOUTUBE

You will no doubt be aware that the Hope Centre Manchester is now closed and all its activities suspended until further notice due to the Coronavirus outbreak that started in March 2020.

If you wish to continue to meditate regularly with your Hope Centre Manchester friends you can now do this on YouTube, as we are now in the process of uploading a new guided meditation for each day of the month with the project name of ‘meditations31’.  

You may wish to meditate at the usual Hope Centre times:

Tuesday evenings 7.30

Wednesday lunchtimes 12.45

Thursday evenings 7.30  

The meditations will be available at any time you wish. The most important thing is to keep meditating regularly, every day if possible!

Most of the meditations are about 18-20 minutes in length, with a shorter ‘music only’ middle section. These shorter versions were originally written to give people the option to meditate at work in their breaks or at lunchtime. The length of each meditation is displayed on the titles for each piece.

Well of Hope – Up and Running

Thanks to all those who supported our fund raising to help our friends in Ghana.

The new well has been completed and is serving around 10,000 inj the local villages. The project has also prompted interest from folk hearby who are, we understand looking at the possibilities for other facilities, supported by local people.

At a tiem when we see much misery and distress in the world, here is soem good news and hoprfully the ripples will create more positivity.

Crystal Meditation – Tues 11th November, Doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start

There will be a special Crystal Meditation on Tuesday the 11th of November.  The focus will be Peace and we will use a special crystal configuration to magnify and focus our collective energy.

Doors open at 7pm for 7.30 start.

All proceeds will go to provide a water pump for Xipbo Village, Volta Region, Ghana in West Africa. The pump would serve about 5000 people in the village and surrounding area and be built on common land in the centre of the village.  The Cost is just over £3000, and we are about £650 short – excluding BACS fee.  Nearest water ‘supply’ is 3 miles walk to a dirty river and is usually kids and mums jobs to collect water. This is a project organised by our colleagues at the Hope Centre, Halifax. They hope to be able to commission the pump by the end of the year – with your help. Every penny goes to the project.
