About Meditation

We offer guided meditation suitable for complete beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Our groups are non-denominational, and our approach is based on Relaxation  and visualisation.

Our Thursday meditation group is open to all.  Your first visit is free, and a cost of £4 per session thereafter.  Arrival is from 7pm with a prompt start at 7.30am. (See below for full details.)

We have found that to meditate in a group is often an ideal way to begin to grow confidence in your meditation practice. We offer an “open-door” for anyone to join us for meditation at our Centre and here you can benefit from both an enhanced energy and from the support and understanding of others. Our groups are informal, friendly and include all walks of life and levels of experience.

Why Meditate?

Meditation is a gift to bestow upon yourself. Everyone can meditate – if you have the ability to sit, or be in a comfortable position, close your eyes and listen to music and spoken guidance, then you have all that is required to meditate and simply by taking a few minutes each day to meditate you will help yourself to better general health and well-being.

Meditation slows the bodies of the physical, emotional and mental and helps you to lift to the spiritual. It enables the body to release negative energies and allows the replenishment of positive energy. Your ability to intuit will improve, thus facilitating more positive choices in your life and achievement of your life plan.

Benefits Of Meditation

Meditation has been proclaimed a stress-buster in our time. It is much more than that, it is the key to our very existence. To meditate daily is to connect to your true potential and to realise it.

Energy Alignment

The energy flow responds and reacts to changes within the physical body, the emotions, the thoughts and the spirit. It also interacts with the energy fields of others.

If interactions and flow of this energy is balanced and harmonious, we experience feelings of wellbeing and positivity, e.g. peace and strength. Disrupted flow and stagnant energy gives feelings of resentment, pain, disorientation, etc.

Aligning the bands of energy and re-establishing positive flow within the body’s energy has uplifting and balancing effect that is experienced immediately. Sealing the aligned energy field protects from negative interactions from others’ energy.

If aligned and sealed, then the personality will never be overcome by emotion or swayed by negativity but will always see things as gifts and opportunities for learning.

The important power lies in the belief in something greater than yourself and the humility and respect to call upon and connect to this energy of purity and love to enhance your own energy and life.

We offer alignments before and after evening meditations.

*Please note that where we state,“Call to the Light for help” we refer to Universal or Cosmic Energy as ‘the Light’.  We are non-denominational, respecting the many beliefs and cultures which ultimately lead to the same destination.  Some may prefer to call to God, Allah, Angels, The Creator or a particular Saint, Master or ‘Ultimate Source’.

To align the self

  • Stop and be still
  • Call to the Light for help *
  • Breathe away the negativity to the earth for transmutation .e.g. the colour blue washing from the crown to the feet and out to the earth
  • Breathe in the Light of positivity, balance and strength e.g. the colour emerald washing from the crown to feet and grounding to the earth and through arms to hands
  • Seal yourself in protective blue light at arm’s length
  • Be of joy and positivity
  • Thank the Light *

Alignment of space

  • Always align yourself first
  • Cleanse – ask for all negativity to be released to the Earth
  • Veil in the highest positivity
  • Seal and protect

Simple Example:

  • I call upon the Light in respect and humility *
  • I ask that all negativity in this room/house etc be released to the Earth
  • I ask that this room/house etc be veiled with the highest positivity
  • I ask that this room/house etc be sealed and protected
  • I thank the Light *

The Emerald Alignment

The emerald alignment is a tool, like meditation is a tool, to bring greater balance, stillness, and focus to your whole self. The body and its energy field are in constant movement. Energy flows into the body through the crown chakra (top of the head) and flows down the spine, through chakras and meridians into the bands of energy that surround the physical being. This energy flow responds to changes in your physical body, emotions, thoughts and spirit. It also interacts with other people’s energy fields. 

The aim of the emerald alignment is to encourage the flow of energy, in through the crown and around the body, to be balanced and aligned, bringing harmony and a greater sense of peace into the body. It also strengthens and protects you and your energy field, from any negative interactions with other people (their energy, words, actions etc), and/or negative environment(s) you may find yourself in. The emerald alignment, firstly aligns your energy, and then seals and protects the aligned body and energy field.

 The emerald alignment should become a frequent practice done throughout the day to continually keep you aligned, sealed and protected. Stopping and being still  in this busy world, will in and of itself, be a good thing. So doing the emerald alignment practice frequently will encourage more peace, balance and focus.

Once learnt the emerald alignment practice should only take a few minutes. Performing it frequently will help you remain aligned, with your body and energies protected.

The emerald alignment practice draws on the energy of the Light and refers to ‘the Light’ in its wording.

‘The Light’ refers to Universal or Cosmic Energy and connects to the energy of purity and love  from a higher power. If you are religious or have your own beliefs, then allow the words ‘The Light’ to reflect whatever you believe in.

We are a group of committed light workers who work together providing healing and meditation. Our mission is to offer hope and healing to all, through an holistic and heart-centred approach.

We aim to teach the science of metaphysics, healing, meditation and understanding of the human energy field (aura). Awareness of our spiritual nature and the eternal journey of the soul are at the core of all our work.

We are a non-denominational group and have an “open door” policy. All are welcome and are free to come and go as they please and as their personal journey dictates. We acknowledge and respect all faiths as being different chosen routes to the same ultimate destination.
