Touch of Light Massage

This routine is a full body massage which involves the client lay on a massage table while relaxing music is played, covered by a wrap and 2 - 3 towels and begins with a relaxation of the back using warmed oil. Other areas massaged are the shoulders, neck, back, sacral, gluteus, legs, arms, décolletage, stomach and face/ hair. Techniques used include effleurage, petrissage, kneading, tapotement,vibrations and energy cleansing. In addition there is gentle sequence performed on the spine to re- align the body.

The aim of the Touch of Light massage is to release any stress or tension which is held in the physical body and the energy field. It is also beneficial to a variety of different conditions due to the stimulation of the lymphatic system which helps to detoxify and rebalance the whole body.

The session will usually last an hour and a half with approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes spent performing the massage routine. Clients usually find the massage peaceful and gently relaxing; leaving them feeling revitalised and focused. The routine is flexible and can be adjusted to meet each client’s personal and individual needs including a time and price reduction for a 1 hour session

Holistic Reflexology

Massage to the reflex points of the feet, corresponding and linking the subtle energy field with specific organs and systems of the body. Particularly beneficial for pain relief, stress reduction and restoring sleep patterns.

Advanced Reflexology

Specialist ‘reflexology circuitry’ is available to help particular groups and conditions, for example:

• During pregnancy
• Babies and children
• ‘Terminally’ ill
• Bereaved/those who have suffered loss

Reflexology for Children

Shorter, specialised sessions are available for children, aged two and upwards. In particular, we are able to offer help in respect of:

• 4 - 6 weeks of follow-up reflexology

According to specific need, further follow-up healing therapies will be available to suit each person.  Each healing session lasts for 30 minutes and weekly appointments are recommended.
